Temporary Pink Ombré Hair
Get the look: Lauren Conrade hot pink ombré hair.
Changing your hair color is fun, but pink hair is not for everyone. Here’s how you can temporarily change your hair color, without damage using food dye.
The amount of time the dye endures varies from each person. If you have really light hair, bleached hair, or damaged hair the color will stay for longer. My stayed for 2 months.
- You’ll need:
- food dye
- a dish
- and something sturdy like a clipboard
- Divide the hair in small sections, paint the hair making sure you coated the whole thing. If you want a lighter shade of pink dilute the dye with water.
- Wrap the section in foil. Do this until all the hair is coated.
- Rinse it off in cold water until it runs clear. Be careful, food dye will stain your clothes if there’s any residue. So stay clear of rain few a few weeks.
- Style as usual.
- You’re done.
