My New Year’s resolution is to be more organized in my day to day; scheduling, planning ahead and task management are big issues in my life. I always feel like I’m running and trying to do a million things at once.
“Every human contact is made smooth by etiquette, or awkward by lack of it” Emily Post was onto something there. Not because she told us which salad fork to use. But because she reminded us thatshared rituals, however small, can bring calm to the chaos.
I’m not saying I’m Hygge, but I did light three candles before writing this.
