When I first moved to Australia, my newly acquired friend Faten put together an adorable care package for me. It contained delicious sweets Aussies love: tim tams, vovos, anzac biscuits and, of coarse, lamingtons. I was love at first bite.
Tempering chocolate sounds fancy and intimidating, but once you get the hang of it, it’s actually kind of therapeutic, like edible alchemy.
Baking macarons is hard, y’all. It requires a little patience, some technique and a lot of practice.
Call it cinnamon roll, swirl, bun, snail or danish, it doesn’t matter, if it has cinnamon in the name, it is definitely going in my mouth.
