Autumn Macarons
Autumn Macarons
Hello Autumn, I’ve missed you. I feel like it’s been so long since we saw each other. Maybe because last year was so damn long, and all the lockdowns, I didn’t have the opportunity to enjoy it properly. This year, thankfully, things are better, so, here I am, first day of the season, baking my little heart out.

Baking macarons is one of my favorite things, just because I feel really proud when I nail them. A while ago, I compiled a list of tips and tricks I acquired over the years to bake perfect macarons everytime.
This week, I was inspired by the colors of autumn and baked 4 different, but complementary flavours. All of them, I have baked before, so I’ll link the recipes below.
Double chocolate: What’s better than chocolate? Twice the amount.
Salted caramel: Opposites attract. Sweet and salty living happily ever after.
Cinnamon roll: My love for everything cinnamon only grows everytime I try a new recipe.
Pumpkin spice: It is not autumn without pumpkin spice everywhere, amirite?
.
These autumn macarons pair very well with a cup of earl grey tea, a warm furry throw blanket, a good book and a cat on your lap. Enjoy!
